ABSTRACT Objective: To determine the association between orthodontic treatment need and self-reported bullying, its impact on adolescents’ self-esteem. Methods: The sample consisted of 160 schoolchildren from 11 to 14 years age, enrolled in public schools. history bullying was evaluated by means Crozier; Dimmock adapted Questionnaire (1999). Self-esteem determined Global Negative Self-Evaluation Scale (GSE). normative Dental Health Component (DHC) perceived need, Aesthetic (AC) Index Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN). Individual analyses were made associations with (outcome).
